These terms apply when you use DocMerge, a Google Sheets add-on from AddonNordic ApS, Solvangen 15, 9210 Aalborg SØ, Denmark (CVR 46495985, [email protected]).
1. The service
DocMerge makes one document per spreadsheet row from a Google Docs template, saves the documents as Google Docs and/or PDF in Google Drive, and can email each PDF to an address in its row. It runs inside your Google account. You need a Google account and Google Drive storage space. Google's own limits apply, for example how many emails your Gmail account may send per day.
2. Plans
- Free: 50 documents per calendar month, as Google Docs and/or PDF, emailed to the address in each row if you choose, with file names from your columns, a preview and a status in every row.
- Pro: no monthly limit, only rows that match a filter, line-item tables and images from links, for one person.
- Team: everything in Pro for a team, priced per person, minimum 3 people.
Current prices are shown in the add-on and at checkout. Prices exclude VAT. Paid plans are sold through Stripe's Managed Payments (Link), which acts as the seller at checkout and charges and pays the right VAT for your country. The final price is shown before you pay, and your receipt comes from Stripe/Link.
3. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance by Stripe/Link, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time under Billing in the DocMerge panel. Your plan then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you move to Free after that. We do not refund periods already started, unless the law requires it.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from your first purchase. By starting to use the paid features straight away you ask us to begin the service within that period; if you withdraw, we refund the amount minus the part of the period you have used. Write to [email protected].
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. If it still fails, your account moves to Free. Nothing you have made is deleted.
4. Your content and your emails
Everything DocMerge makes belongs to you and stays in your Google Drive. You are responsible for the content of your templates and spreadsheets, and for having the right to use the personal data in them.
If you use "Email each PDF", the emails are sent from your own Gmail account, and you are the sender. Use it only for recipients who expect the document, such as your own customers, students or employees. Do not use DocMerge for unsolicited marketing email. In many EU countries, including Denmark and Germany, sending marketing email without prior consent is illegal.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use DocMerge to break the law, to send spam, to get around Google's terms, or to overload or attack our servers.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep DocMerge running, but we cannot promise it will always work without interruption, because it depends on Google and Stripe. If our licence server is down, paid plans keep working for at least 14 days from the last successful check. We may improve or change features. If we remove a paid feature, we tell you first, and you can cancel and get a refund for the unused part of a yearly plan.
7. Liability
DocMerge is provided as it is. Check the documents it makes before you rely on them. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, including for consumers.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by uninstalling DocMerge and cancelling your plan. We can end your access if you break these terms; for paid plans we refund the unused part unless the breach is serious.
9. Law and disputes
Danish law applies. Disputes go to the Danish courts, unless you are a consumer with the right to use the courts of your own country. EU consumers can also use the EU's online dispute resolution platform.
